Shasta Scale Modelers is actively seeking new members. All skill levels will feel comfortable in our zero stress, low key, let's have some fun environment.

Community Programs

The Shasta Scale Modelers enjoy introducing young people to our hobby. If you have a group that would be interested in taking part in our no cost Make-N-Take program, please contact us to receive additional information.

The club also enjoys introducing juveniles to modeling in a club format as well as reintroducing or even introducing adults into the hobby and helping with parent/child model building.

Shasta Scale Modelers recommends All Around RC and Hobbies in Redding CA as your north state modeling resource.

President's Message

Hope everybody is hard at those first quarter projects. See coming events below for details. It's my sad duty to report the passing of one of our members. Ron Tucker passed after a long illness. He will be sorely missed and our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Coming Events

It's First Quarter Project time! The theme is "Anything with a ZERO". For those of you that follow SSM you know that ANYTHING means anything! For example a 1950 Ford, a 1960 Chevrolet or a WW2 Japanese fighter would all qualify. Let your imagination run wild. 1st quarter project will be group judged and plaque awarded at our March 14th meeting.
